thought: this album deals with two words: 'essence' and 'loss'. After every departures we still posses what is left. Before us. To hear. To make us remember. Endlessly. Even if those who left never existed.
matter: an assemblage and juxtaposition of deeply re-worked sound sources (acoustic and electric instruments, field recordings, found objects, stones, surfaces, voices and other flying things recorded throughout the years 2002-2004).
history: this album was initially released in 2005 by the (now inactive) weblabel ctrl+alt+canc (www.ctrlaltcanc.org). A cd-r version had been released through lulu.com but it's unavailable since years. Very few copies are still around.
now: this album is available again through bandcamp in its completeness.
