thought: 13 is like a birth certificate. It testifies the birth of a more experimental side of aal, which was known unitl then as a dark ambient entity.
matter: an assemblage of sounds coming from field recordings, acoustic and electric instruments, synthseizers, found objects, stones, metal objects.
history: this is the first release by aal to be featured on a label and the first release of the s'agita recordings label as well, a small label based in Rome run by Logoplasm (Paolo Ippoliti and Laura Lovreglio). It was an honour to be the first artist on a label that throughout the years of its existence released albums by Frans De Waard, Claudio Rocchetti, Aidan Baker, Andrea Belfi and Dale Lloyd among others.
now: this album is available again through bandcamp in its completeness.
