about

thought: this album contains some of the most static pieces of music I've ever released. Inspired by Samuel Beckett's radio play "All that fall" and deeply influenced by sufist transcendental philosophy, it has been described by Paolo Ippoliti of Logoplasm (and founder of the sa'gita recordings label) as: "slow and real, almost painful in its rigour" (www.aferecords.com/releases/afe050lcd.htm). I agree completely.

matter: treatments of recorded sound sources (radio waves, ney flutes, acoustic guitars, clay madal percussions)

history: this album was released privately in 2002 and circulated among a circle of friends. Re-released by Afe Records (www.aferecords.com) in 2004 in a double cd-r limited edition which included "disc1", an album of the same period. Nowadays it's almost impossible to get a copy of this, maybe very few copies are still available through discogs or ebay.

now: this album is available again through bandcamp in its completeness.

"more mature, with a better - and at the same time more extreme - use of sounds and repetitions, notably in the majestic, relentless emotional crumbling of "All that Fall"." (Chain DLK, www.chaindlk.com/reviews/?id=1432)
