about

thought: this is the first release for which I choose the name aal. "Warm, melancholic cosmic drones, like looking at a starlit nightsky from behind a window, in the coldest hours of winter. A man, alone with its electronics, the whole universe flying around in tiny grains." Paolo Ippoliti (Logoplasm, founder of the s'agita recordings label)

matter: synthesizers, samples and effects. Everything is played and not sequenced.

history: this album was released privately in 2001 and circulated among a circle of friends. Re-released by Afe Records (www.aferecords.com) in 2004 in a double cd-r limited edition which included "inherited and partially transmitted", an album of the same period. Nowadays it's almost impossible to get a copy of this, maybe very few copies are still available through discogs or ebay.

now: this album is available again through bandcamp in its completeness.

"Deep, abstract synth waves lulling the listener to a dimension out of time and space as the patterns uncoil and some distant, melancholic melody is heard." (Chain DLK | chaindlk.com/reviews/?id=193)
